The Beaver G80 Clevis Self Locking Hook 6mm is the terminal hook for a 6mm Grade 80 chain sling, rated to a 1.1t working load limit. The self locking latch snaps shut under load, so the hook stays closed once the sling takes weight. It is the smallest end of the range, suited to light chain slings on workshop lifts, plant maintenance and general rigging where a 1.1t limit is plenty.
Built from heat treated alloy steel, with quality testing carried out through the manufacturing process and identification marks on the body. The clevis fits straight onto the chain with a pin and no extra connector. Dimensions run 98mm overall length, 75mm across the body, a 28mm throat and a 22mm hook opening, on an 8mm clevis pin. Weight is about 0.57kg, so it will not drag a short sling out of line.
