The Beaver G80 Clevis Shortening Grab Hook 7-8mm lets you shorten a chain sling leg on the job without dropping down a whole assembly. Sized for 7-8mm Grade 80 chain, it carries a working load limit of 2t, making it the pick for lighter chain slings where a 10mm hook would be overkill. The clevis takes a 9mm pin and runs 53.3mm across the mouth, with a 50mm body width and 10.5mm gap.

Made from heat treated alloy steel, the same material used across the Beaver Grade 80 component range for heavy lifting work. At 0.28kg it adds very little weight to a leg, so riggers handling multi-leg slings all day feel the difference. Distinguishing marks are cast into the body, which makes identification quick during a pre-use check or a periodic inspection. Quality testing is carried out through the manufacturing process.
