The Beaver G80 Eye Sling Hook With Safety Latch 22mm is the connection point at the business end of a heavy chain sling, with a spring latch to stop the load slipping off the bowl. At 22mm chain size it carries a 15t working load limit, making it the choice for big fabricated steel, heavy plant components and mine site lifts where the smaller sizes in the range run out of capacity.
Made from heat treated alloy steel and quality tested through the manufacturing process, it carries distinguishing marks so your crew can identify it on the ground. The hook measures 259mm at b and 271mm at e, with a 62mm eye and a 32mm throat opening, and weighs roughly 8.5kg. Check the latch springs shut cleanly and the throat has not opened before every lift.
