The Beaver G80 Eye Sling Hook With Safety Latch 20mm is the terminal hook for your heaviest grade 80 chain slings, rated to a 12.5t working load limit. It suits 20mm chain, making it the largest end of the range and the one you reach for on big crane lifts rather than general workshop work. The eye takes a connecting link or master link, and the spring latch keeps the sling in place while the load settles.
Built from heat treated alloy steel, with quality testing carried out through manufacturing and distinguishing marks stamped on for easy identification down the track. It is a solid piece of gear at roughly 5.8kg, with a 219mm overall length, a 58.5mm hook opening and a 62mm eye width. Check the latch springs back cleanly and the throat has not opened up before every lift.
