The Beaver G80 Eye Sling Hook With Safety Latch is the connecting hook on the business end of a chain sling, and this 6mm version is the lightest in the range at 1.1t working load limit. It suits 6mm Grade 80 chain, so it is the one to reach for on smaller single leg slings and light fabrication lifts where a 8mm or 10mm hook is more weight than the job needs. Built from heat treated alloy steel and quality tested through manufacture.

At 0.244kg it barely adds anything to the sling. The 20mm eye takes the coupler or connecting link, the throat opens 23.5mm and the hook stands 75mm tall with a 71.3mm width across the body. The spring latch closes the throat so the sling stays put when the load swings or the chain goes slack. Beaver components carry identification marks, so you can check what you have got on the hook itself before you lift.
