The Beaver G80 Eye Self Locking Hook 16mm is a self locking hook for 16mm Grade 80 chain, rated to an 8t working load limit. The spring loaded latch snaps shut under load, so the hook stays closed once the load is on and the rigger is not relying on a screw pin or a manual catch. The eye takes a connecting link or coupler back to the chain sling.

Body dimensions run 254mm overall with a 173mm length, a 64mm throat opening and a 53mm depth, on a 49mm eye with a 24.5mm section. Weight is about 5.875kg, so it is a two hand fitting at this size. Made from heat treated alloy steel, quality tested through manufacture, and marked for identification during inspection.
