The Beaver G80 Eye Self Locking Hook 6mm is a self locking hook for the small end of Grade 80 chain work, rated to a 1.1t working load limit. It suits 6mm chain, so it is the size you reach for on light chain slings, engine lifts and smaller fabrication jobs where a full size hook is overkill. The eye takes a connecting link or master link, and the spring loaded latch closes under load so the hook stays shut without you holding it.

Built from heat treated alloy steel, it measures 107mm overall with a 75mm body and a 28mm throat opening. Pin diameters are 22mm and 11mm, with a 22mm height, and the whole hook weighs about 0.5kg, so it is easy to handle up a ladder or on a platform. Quality testing is carried out through manufacturing, and the hook carries identification marks so you can check it on site.
