The Beaver G80 Eye Shortening Grab Hook 32mm shortens a Grade 80 chain leg to length without cutting or rerigging. At 31.5t working load limit on 32mm chain, this is the largest size in the range, built for heavy lift work where the chain itself is the limiting factor. The eye at the top connects straight to couplers, shackles or wire rope slings. Supporting lugs sit either side of the seat so the chain link cannot deform and drop the rated capacity.
Heat treated alloy steel throughout, with distinguishing marks stamped on for identification during inspection. Complies to AS 3776. It measures 223mm across dimension b and 230mm at e, with a 38mm throat and eye dimensions of 57mm and 40mm. Weight is around 19.4kg, so plan the lift and the handling to match. Do not tip load an eye grab hook.
