About this product
The Beaver G80 Eye Shortening Grab Hook 20mm is used to shorten a Grade 80 chain sling leg without losing rated capacity. Sized for 20mm chain, it carries a working load limit of 12.5t, which puts it at the heavier end of the range and suits big crane and mine site lifts. The eye at the top connects straight to couplers, connectors, shackles or wire rope slings.
Supporting lugs sit either side of the hook throat so the chain link seats properly and does not deform under load. It is made from heat treated alloy steel and weighs roughly 4kg, with a 143mm b dimension, 25mm throat opening and 23mm eye section. Complies to AS 3776. Do not tip load an eye grab hook.
