About this product
The Beaver G80 Eye Shortening Grab Hook 7-8mm is used to shorten a chain sling leg, cradling a 7-8mm link and holding it at a 2t working load limit. The eye at the top makes it simple to connect to couplers and connectors, shackles or wire rope slings. Supporting lugs sit either side of the throat so the link is not deformed under load and the WLL is not reduced.
Made from heat treated alloy steel and complies to AS 3776, with identification marks stamped on for checking in the yard. At 0.35kg it is easy to handle, with a 51mm eye width, 61.7mm across the dimension e and a 10.8mm hook opening. Keep the load in the seat of the hook. These hooks are not suitable for tip loading.
