About this product
The Beaver G80 Eye Shortening Grab Hook 6mm is used to shorten a chain sling leg quickly without losing rated capacity, and it is the smallest hook in the range. Matched to 6mm chain with a working load limit of 1.1t, it suits light chain slings where you still need proper rated gear. The eye at the top takes a coupler, shackle or wire rope sling, so it drops into existing assemblies easily.
Supporting lugs sit either side of the throat to hold the chain link square and stop deformation that would cut the WLL. Built from heat treated alloy steel and complies to AS 3776, with identification marks stamped on the body. Eye dimensions are 13.5mm by 8mm, throat 8.3mm, and it weighs around 0.14kg. Do not tip load it.
