The Beaver G80 Clevis Sling Hook With Safety Latch 16mm is a general-purpose lifting hook that pins straight onto 16mm Grade 80 chain, rated to an 8t working load limit. It sits near the heavier end of the range, so it suits the bigger chain slings doing structural steel, plant lifts and mine site recovery work.

Made from heat treated alloy steel, it measures 161mm long with a 148mm throat height, a 51mm opening and a 54mm seat width, and the pin diameter is 21.3mm. Weight is about 3.94kg, so it is a decent lump in the hand. The latch closes and locks on its own, meaning the hook will not open under load. Beaver Grade 80 components carry identification marks and comply to AS 3776. The clevis end removes the need for a connecting link.
