About this product
The Beaver G80 Clevis Shortening Clutch lets you shorten a chain sling leg without dropping the working load limit. This 13mm version is the larger of the two sizes in the range, rated to a 5.4t WLL and built to suit 13mm Grade 80 chain. At 175mm long overall and about 2.1kg, it has the heft you would expect on a heavy lifting leg.
Made from heat treated alloy steel, with a clevis pin that connects straight onto the chain so you do not need a separate connecting link. The clevis opening measures 16mm with a 17mm pin arrangement, and the pocket sits at 30mm. Beaver Grade 80 components carry identification marks, and the clutch complies to AS 3776. Check the body and pin for wear or deformation before each lift.
