The Beaver G80 Recessed Enlarged Multi-Leg Master Link - Oblong 8mm is the top assembly for 2, 3 and 4 leg chain slings running 8mm chain. You get one oblong master link with two intermediate links of matching capacity, rated to a working load limit of 4.25t at 60 degrees. The master body measures 230mm long by 130mm wide across the outside, with 23mm section and 160mm by 90mm inside dimensions.
Made from heat treated alloy steel and complies to AS 3776. The enlarged oblong shape gives bigger crane hooks room to seat properly, and the recessed intermediates keep the legs sitting where they should. At roughly 2.32kg the assembly is easy enough to handle on the deck. Identification marks are cast in, so checking the component during inspection is straightforward.
