Beaver G1570 7x7 Galvanised Wire Rope 8mm is a semi-flexible galvanised rope for standing rigging, guys, fencing lines and general tie-back work where you want a firm rope that holds its shape. The 7x7 construction runs seven strands of seven wires over a wire core, so it stays stiffer than a 6x19 and resists crushing under clamps and thimbles.

At 8mm it sits in the middle of the range, with a minimum breaking force of 36.1kN and an approximate mass of 24.6kg/100m. Grade 1570 wire, right hand ordinary lay, dry lubricated and galvanised for outdoor service. Step up from the smaller diameters when you need more strength without going to a heavy, hard to handle rope. Terminate it with swaged or bolted fittings sized to 8mm and keep an eye on broken wires and rust at the terminations.
