About this product
The Beaver G1570 7x7 Galvanised Wire Rope 3mm is a light, flexible steel rope for balustrade runs, guy wires, tie-backs and general light restraint work. At 3mm it is the fine end of the range, easy to feed through small fittings and swage terminals while still carrying a minimum breaking force of 5.1kN. The 7x7 construction with a wire core keeps it firm underfoot and holds its shape better than a fibre core rope.
Grade 1570 steel, galvanised finish, dry lub, right hand ordinary lay. The galvanising handles outdoor and coastal exposure without the mess of a heavily greased rope, so it suits jobs where the rope gets handled or sits on show. Mass is approximately 3.5kg per 100m, light enough to run out by hand. Keep it clear of sharp edges and check for broken wires and rust staining before each use.
