Beaver G1770 Galvanised Wire Rope in 6x36 construction, 22mm, is a flexible general lifting and winching rope for crane work, slinging and rigging jobs. The 22mm size is the heavier end of the range, with a minimum breaking force of 304kN and an approximate mass of 202kg per 100m, so plan your drum capacity and handling gear accordingly.

Grade 1770 wires are laid up right hand ordinary lay over an independent wire rope core, which keeps the rope stable under load and holds its shape better than a fibre core. The galvanised finish adds corrosion protection for outdoor yards, coastal sites and mine site exposure. The 36 wires per strand give good flexibility for a rope this size, handy where it runs over sheaves or needs to spool neatly. Check for broken wires, crushing and corrosion before each use.
