About this product
The Beaver G1770 Galvanised Wire Rope 6x36 in 12mm is a flexible general lifting and winching rope for crane crews, workshops and mine site plant. The 6x36 construction packs in plenty of outer wires, so it bends around sheaves and drums without fighting you, and the independent wire rope core holds its shape under load better than a fibre core.
At 12mm it sits in the middle of the range, with a minimum breaking force of 90kN and an approximate mass of 60.2kg per 100m, so it is light enough to handle by hand on site. Grade 1770 wire, right hand ordinary lay, galvanised finish for corrosion resistance in wet and coastal work. Check for broken wires, kinks and crushing before every use.
