Beaver G2070 Galvanised Wire Rope in 4mm is a flexible 7x19 rope for light lifting rigs, winch lines, fencing and general tie-off work where a thinner rope still needs decent strength. The 7x19 construction puts 19 wires in each of the seven strands, so it bends around sheaves and drums far better than a heavier, coarser rope of the same diameter.
Grade 2070 with a wire core gives a minimum breaking force of 11.2kN, and at roughly 6.22kg per 100m it stays easy to handle and reeve by hand. The lay is right hand ordinary. Galvanising and a dry lube finish help it hold up outdoors without leaving grease on your hands or on the load. Keep an eye out for broken wires, kinks and crushing, and retire the rope when damage shows up.
