About this product
Beaver G1570 Galvanised Wire Rope with a Fibre Core 6x19 in 6mm is a light general purpose rope for winching, hoist lines, fencing strainers and tie-off work where you want flexibility over sheer strength. At 6mm diameter it has a minimum breaking force of 17.6kN, and 100m of it weighs in at only about 12.4kg, so it is easy to handle and run out by hand.
The 6x19 construction gives 19 wires per strand around a fibre core, which keeps the rope supple and bending freely over sheaves and drums. Grade 1570 wire with a galvanised finish holds up better than bright rope in damp or outdoor conditions. It is dry lubed and right hand ordinary lay. Keep an eye out for broken wires, kinks and crushing, and pull it out of service once wear shows.
