About this product
The Beaver G1570 Galvanised Wire Rope with a Fibre Core 6x19 in 5mm is the light end of the range, a thin and flexible rope for winches, fencing strainers, guy lines and general tie-down work where a heavier diameter would be awkward to handle. Minimum breaking force is 12kN. The 6x19 construction and dry lubed fibre core keep it supple over sheaves and drums, and the galvanised finish slows down surface rust in damp or outdoor conditions.
Lay is right hand ordinary, grade 1570, with a 50m length to work from. Approximate mass is 8.8 per 100m, so at 5mm it is easy to run out by hand and easy to coil back up. Keep it off wet ground, watch for broken wires and kinks at the terminations, and it will keep doing the job.
