The Beaver G2070 Galvanised Wire Rope in 8mm is a 7x7 construction rope with a wire core, built for static and semi-static jobs like guying, fencing lines, balustrade runs and general tie-back work. The 8mm size sits at the heavier end of the 7x7 range, with a minimum breaking force of 47.5kN and an approximate mass of 25.66kg/100m, so you get real strength without moving up to a multi-strand hauling rope.

Grade 2070 wire with a galvanised finish handles outdoor exposure and damp conditions better than bright rope. Right hand ordinary lay keeps it predictable through thimbles, swage sleeves and grips. The 7x7 build is firm rather than flexible, which is what you want when the rope is holding a load steady instead of cycling over sheaves. Check for broken wires and rust staining at the terminations before each use.
