The Beaver G2070 Galvanised Wire Rope in 5mm is a 7x7 construction rope with a wire core, built for light rigging, fencing runs, guy lines and general tie-back work. At 5mm it sits at the finer end of the range, so it handles smaller sheaves and tighter terminations than the heavier diameters while still pulling a minimum breaking force of 18.9kN.

Grade 2070 wire gives it the strength for its size, and the galvanised finish helps it hold up outdoors and around wash-down areas. The right hand ordinary lay keeps it predictable when spooling and tensioning. Mass runs at roughly 10.4kg per 100m, light enough to run out by hand on site. The wire core makes it firmer and less prone to crush than a fibre core rope, so it keeps its shape under load.
