The Beaver G1570 Galvanised Wire Rope with a Fibre Core 6x7 in 2.5mm is the lightest size in the range, suited to light static work like fencing, balustrade infill, guy lines and general tie-off jobs where a heavier rope would be overkill. Minimum breaking force is 3.2kN and the grade is 1570.
The 6x7 construction gives you a firm, hard-wearing rope rather than a soft flexible one, and the fibre core keeps the dry lube where it is needed. Galvanised finish helps it hold up outdoors and around damp. At roughly 2.65kg per 100m it is easy to handle and run out by hand. Lay is right hand ordinary. Keep an eye out for broken wires, kinks and rust patches, and retire the rope once the damage shows.
