The Beaver G1570 Galvanised Wire Rope with a Fibre Core 6x7 in 2mm is the lightest size in the range, suited to light restraint, control lines and general fit-out work rather than lifting. The 6x7 construction gives you six strands of seven wires around a fibre core, which keeps the rope flexible and easy to handle at this small diameter. Minimum breaking force is 2.1kN.

Grade 1570 wire with a galvanised finish handles damp and outdoor conditions better than bright rope, and the dry lube helps keep the strands running clean. Lay is right hand ordinary. Approximate mass is 1.4kg per 100m, so it adds next to nothing on long runs. Check for broken wires, kinks and rust before each use, and replace the rope once the outer wires start to go.
