About this product
The Beaver G1570 PVC Coated Galvanised Wire Rope in 5mm x 7mm is a flexible fibre core rope with a red PVC jacket, used for light restraint, barriers, guard lines and general tie-off work where a bare rope would snag or mark what it touches. This is the smaller of the two sizes, with a 5mm galvanised core stepping out to 7mm over the coating, so it stays easy to handle and easy to see.
Construction is 6x19 around a fibre core in grade 1570 wire, right hand ordinary lay, with a minimum breaking force of 12.06kN. Mass works out at roughly 8.6kg per 100m, light enough to run out by hand. The galvanising handles moisture under the PVC, and the red coating gives you a visible line on site. Not for overhead lifting.
