The Beaver G1570 PVC Coated Galvanised Wire Rope is a flexible 6x19 fibre core rope in a yellow PVC jacket, used for light restraint, barriers, guide lines and general tie-off work where a bare rope would mark surfaces or snag hands. This is the 4mm size, finishing at 6mm outside diameter once the coating is on, with a minimum breaking force of 7.72kN.
At grade 1570 with a galvanised finish under the PVC, it handles damp and outdoor conditions better than plain steel. The fibre core keeps it supple for running through eyes and pulleys, and right hand ordinary lay makes it easy to work with standard fittings. Mass is around 5.5kg per 100m, so it is light to run out by hand. The yellow jacket also makes the line easy to pick up on site.
