The Beaver G1570 PVC Coated Galvanised Wire Rope With a Fibre Core is a flexible 6x19 rope in a red PVC jacket, suited to light lifting aids, barrier lines, guard rails and general fit-out work where you want the rope seen and the strands protected. This is the smaller of the two sizes, running a 3.5mm wire diameter under a 5.5mm PVC outside diameter, with a minimum breaking force of 5.92kN.
Underneath the coating it is galvanised grade 1570 wire, built right hand ordinary lay over a fibre core, so it stays supple and easy to handle through small sheaves and tight runs. Mass is roughly 4.2kg per 100m, which keeps it manageable overhead and on long spans. The red PVC adds visibility and keeps hands and finished surfaces off bare wire.
