About this product
The Beaver G1570 PVC Coated Galvanised Wire Rope With a Fibre Core is a flexible 6x19 rope with a blue PVC jacket, used for light hauling, barriers, fencing lines and general tie-back work. This is the smallest size in the range, with a 3.5mm wire diameter finishing at 5.5mm over the PVC. Minimum breaking force is 5.92kN and it weighs roughly 4.2kg per 100m, so it is easy to handle and run out by hand.
Underneath the coating the rope is galvanised grade 1570 steel in right hand ordinary lay, with a fibre core that keeps it supple through pulleys and around corners. The blue PVC adds a bit of protection to the wire and stops the rope marking whatever it runs against. Handy where you want something visible and neat rather than heavy lifting rope.
