About this product
Moldex Sparkplug Disposable Foam Earplugs are single-use hearing protection rated SLC (80) 29dB, Class 5, so they cover most noisy job sites. The foam is extra soft and extra light, and the tapered shape rolls down and slides into the ear canal without much fuss. It seals snugly without pushing back on the ear, which makes a long shift a lot easier to get through. The smooth surface is non-irritating and the taper suits even very small ear canals.
A corded version keeps the plugs together so they are less likely to go missing between tasks. There is also a metal detectable version with a metal detectable cord, built around an enclosed ball bearing so no metal is exposed. The ball bearing and the cord sit in separate holes, so the plug stays detectable even if the cord comes off. Bright blue suits food processing work, and the plugs are 100% PVC-free. The coloured streaks and swirls are the Moldex marker. Independently tested.
