About this product
Beaver Wire Rope Copper Ferrules 21.7mm x 43.4mm x 8.4mm are swage sleeves for forming eyes and terminations in 20mm wire rope. This is the largest end of the common range, sized with a 21.7mm outside diameter, a 43.4mm length across the body and an 8.4mm bore, with an overall length of 70mm. Beaver manufactures them to DIN 3093.
Copper takes a press well, so the ferrule flows tight around the rope without chewing up the wires. Match the ferrule size to the rope diameter and use the correct die in your swaging press. Get that wrong and the termination will not hold. Handy for slings, guy assemblies and fixed rope ends where a hand splice is not practical.
