Beaver Wire Rope Copper Ferrules 12.1mm x 24.2mm x 4.5mm are swaged onto 11mm wire rope to form a permanent eye or a loop back termination. This size takes an 11mm rope, with a 12.1mm bore, a 24.2mm outside dimension and a 4.5mm wall, over a 39mm body length. Manufactured by Beaver to DIN 3093.

Copper is soft enough to flow around the rope lay under the press, which is why ferrules like these are the standard termination on slings and balustrade work. Match the ferrule bore to the rope diameter and press with the correct die, then check the finished length against your swage chart. Get the size wrong and the grip suffers, so measure the rope before you start. Keep a few of the sizes you use most on the truck.
