Beaver Wire Rope Copper Ferrules 6.6mm x 13.2mm x 2.5mm are swaged fittings used to form an eye or a loop in 6mm wire rope. The 6.6mm bore takes the rope, the 13.2mm outside diameter gives the press something to bite into, and the 2.5mm wall compresses down onto the strands to hold the termination. Overall length is 21mm. Beaver manufactures them to DIN 3093.

Copper is soft enough to flow around the rope under pressure, which is why these are the go for light wire rope work, balustrade runs, fencing lines and general workshop jobs. Match the ferrule to the rope size and use the correct die in your swaging tool. A ferrule that has been pressed with the wrong die will not hold as it should, so check the finished dimension before the assembly goes into service.
