About this product
The Beaver Wire Rope Nickle Plated Copper Ferrules 3.3mm x 6.6mm x 1.25mm are swage sleeves for forming eyes and terminations in 3mm wire rope. This is the smaller end of the range, with a 3.3mm bore, 6.6mm outside diameter, a 1.25mm wall and an overall length of 11mm. Press them with the matching die and you get a clean, permanent termination without knots or clips.
Copper takes the swage well and holds its grip, while the nickle plating keeps the finish tidy and helps the ferrule stand up to weather and handling. Beaver manufactures them to DIN 3093. Handy for balustrade wire, light control cables and fine rope assemblies where a bulky fitting would look out of place. Check the bore against your rope before you crimp, since an oversized ferrule will not hold.
