Beaver Wire Rope Copper Ferrules 3.8mm x 7.6mm x 1.5mm are swage sleeves for forming eyes and terminations on 3.5mm wire rope. The 3.8mm bore takes the rope, the 7.6mm outside diameter gives the press something to bite on, and the 1.5mm centre web keeps the two legs of the rope apart while you swage. Overall length is 13mm. Manufactured by Beaver to DIN 3093.

Copper stays soft enough to flow around the strands under the dies, so you get a clean grip without chewing up the rope. Use a swaging tool matched to this ferrule size and check the finished sleeve against the die markings. Handy for balustrade wire, light lifelines and general small diameter rope work where a thimble eye or soft eye is needed. Sitting near the smaller end of the Beaver range, it suits fine rope jobs where a bigger sleeve simply will not close properly.
