Beaver Wire Rope Copper Ferrules 2.2mm x 4.4mm x 0.90mm are swaged onto 2mm wire rope to lock an eye or a loop in place. This is the smallest end of the range, with a 2.2mm bore, a 4.4mm outside diameter and a 0.90mm wall, so it suits light stainless or galvanised cable work rather than lifting.

Length is 7mm, which gives the press enough material to grip without bulking up the termination. Copper is soft, so it flows neatly into the rope lay under a proper swaging tool and holds. Beaver manufactures these to DIN 3093. Match the ferrule bore to your rope diameter and use the right die, and check the finished swage for even compression along its full length before you put the assembly to work.
