About this product
The Beaver Geared Girder Trolley 5t runs a chain block or hoist along an I-beam, with a hand chain to drive it under load. At 5t rated capacity it sits in the heavier end of the range, suited to high use work, higher suspension levels and loads the smaller sizes cannot take. Flange width adjustment runs from 114mm to 305mm, and up to a maximum of 350mm by adding or removing spacers or nuts on the suspension pin.
All-steel construction, 46kg net weight, and a proof load of 61.29kN after operational testing to 150% of rated capacity. Anti-tilt blocks come fitted as standard, the hand chain carries a zinc dichromate gold finish for corrosion resistance, and a stainless steel ID plate keeps traceability sorted. Red colour coded. Minimum radius curve is 1.4m. Complies to AS 1418.2. Not for passenger elevator use, and beam selection stays with the user.
