About this product
The Beaver Geared Girder Trolley 2t runs a load along an I-beam using a hand chain, so you can position gear accurately from ground level. This size carries a rated capacity of 2t with a proof load of 29.42kN, and it is colour coded green to match international WLL lifting standards. The flange width range is 88-203mm as supplied, and adding or removing spacers and nuts on the suspension pin takes it out to a maximum of 350mm.
Geared travel makes sense for heavier loads, high suspension heights or trolleys that get worked hard every shift. At 21.5kg it is manageable to fit despite the all steel build, and it will negotiate a minimum radius curve of 1.1m. Anti-tilt blocks come fitted as standard, the hand chain carries a zinc dichromate finish for corrosion resistance, and a stainless steel ID plate keeps traceability sorted. Complies to AS 1418.2. Not for passenger elevator applications, and beam selection remains the user's call.
