About this product
The Beaver Geared Girder Trolley 1t is the entry point in the geared range, giving you a hand chain driven trolley for moving a one tonne load along an I-beam. The violet colour code marks the 1t rating, and at 14.5kg it is the easiest of the range to get up to height and fit on your own. Standard flange range is 64-203mm, with widths up to a maximum of 350mm covered by adding or removing spacers and nuts on the suspension pin.
Geared travel suits high use work, higher suspension levels and situations where you need controlled positioning rather than a shove. Construction is all steel, proof load is 14.71kN, and it will track a curve down to a 1m minimum radius. Anti-tilt blocks are fitted as standard, the hand chain carries a zinc dichromate gold finish for corrosion resistance, and a stainless steel ID plate keeps it traceable. Complies to AS 1418.2. Not for passenger elevator use, and beam selection remains the user's call.
