About this product
The Black Rat 4WD Recovery Folding Shovel with Handy Carry Pouch is a steel digging tool for towing and recovery work, made to fold down and live in the vehicle until you need it. Folded it measures 425mm x 152mm and weighs 1.1kg, so it fits behind a seat or in a tray box without taking up room. The serrated blade cuts into packed dirt, clay and roots when you are digging out a bogged wheel.
A knurled collar locks the blade in position once you have set it, so the head stays put while you are working instead of flopping about. Steel through the blade and shaft handles the load you put through a recovery dig. The carry pouch keeps the mud off everything else in the back and keeps the shovel where you left it.
