About this product
The Black Rat 4WD Equalising Strap 4t spreads recovery loads across both front recovery points so one side of the chassis isn't taking the whole hit. It measures 4m x 50mm and is made from polyester, with a minimum breaking strain of 4t. Grade 80 eye sling hooks with latches are fitted to each end.
Hook up to both rated recovery points, then run your snatch strap or winch line off the centre. The forces get shared instead of loading a single mount. At 1.3kg it takes up very little room in the recovery bag. Check the webbing for cuts, abrasion and heat damage before every use, and make sure the hook latches close properly and the recovery points on the vehicle are sound.
