About this product
The Beaver Bighaul Wire Rope Hoists 1.6t is a portable creeper winch for pulling, lifting, lowering, spanning and 4WD recovery over long distances. It arrives with an operating lever and 20m of wire rope on a reel, so you can work well away from the anchor point. The 1.6t model sits in the middle of the range and is dual rated for both pulling and lifting, with an eye sling hook and safety latch fitted to the rope. The other end is tapered to feed straight into the unit.
The aluminium body keeps the weight down and handles corrosion better than steel. Overload protection is built in through a shear pin in the forward lever, which shears at roughly 25% overload. Each unit is proof load tested at manufacture and carries its own serial number, so it can be traced back to a test certificate. Main dimensions are 540mm, 190mm, 300mm, 75mm, 790mm and 1200mm. Complies to AS 1418.2.
