About this product
The Beaver Bighaul Wire Rope Hoists 0.8t is a portable creeper winch for pulling, lifting, lowering and spanning loads over long distances. At 0.8t rated lifting capacity, it is the lightest of the three sizes, so it suits one-person jobs where you need reach rather than heavy tonnage. Body measures 430mm by 165mm by 230mm, with a 60mm dimension at D and 800mm at E. It comes with the operating lever and 20m of wire rope on a reel.
The aluminium body keeps the weight down and holds up against corrosion. Overload protection is built in through a shear pin in the forward lever, which shears at roughly 25% overload. The rope has a safety latch hook at one end and a tapered end for feeding into the unit, and this size is supplied with an eye sling hook with safety latch. Each unit is proof load tested at manufacture and carries its own serial number for traceability back to a test certificate. Complies to AS 1418.2.
