The Black Rat 4WD Off-Road Sheave Block With Carry Bag 11mm is a snatch block for winch recovery work, letting you double your line pull or change the direction of a pull. The sheave is high grade cast iron, precision grooved to take wire rope up to 11mm, so it runs true under load instead of chewing the rope. Minimum breaking strain is 8,000kg. Two heavy duty steel cover plates protect the sheave and keep grit out on rough tracks.
Pressure grease lubrication keeps the sheave turning smoothly after a few muddy recoveries, and the zinc passivated gold finish helps hold off corrosion. At 3.8kg it is easy enough to stow behind the seat or in a recovery bag, and the vinyl pouch keeps the grease off everything else in the vehicle.
