About this product
The Beaver 3S Industrial Manual Chain Block with overload protection is a 5t hand-operated hoist for vertical lifting on monorails, jibs and fixed installations. This is the 5t size in the range, running two falls of 9mm x 30mm Grade 80 calibrated load chain over a 3m standard lift, with a red colour code and a unit weight of 41.3kg. Effort on the lever to lift full load is 363kg.
Housing is cast steel with a gear case and reinforced side covers, and the double pawl and double roller guide keep the hand chain feeding cleanly into the wheel sprocket. Top and bottom hooks run on ball bearings and carry safety catches. ID plates and rivets are stainless steel to avoid sparking, and each block carries a serial number tied to its test certificate. Complies to AS/NZS 1418.2, with Grade 80 calibrated chain marked according to ISO 3077. Use it for vertical lifts only.
