About this product
The Beaver 3S Industrial Manual Chain Block with Overload Protection in 1t is the lightest size in the range, built for vertical lifting on monorails, jibs and fixed installations. It runs a single fall of 6mm x 18mm G80 calibrated load chain over a 6m standard lift, and at 14.8kg net it is the easiest of the six sizes to carry up to a job. Violet colour coding makes the capacity easy to pick out on a busy site.
Effort on the lever to lift the full load is 250kg. The housing is cast steel with a reinforced gear case and side covers, and the top and bottom hooks run ball bearings with safety catches. Overload protection is built in. ID plates and rivets are stainless steel to avoid sparking. Every 3S block carries a serial number tied to its own test certificate. Complies to AS/NZS 1418.2, with Grade 80 calibrated chain marked according to ISO 3077. Use it for vertical lifts only.
