The Beaver 3S Industrial Manual Lever Block with Overload Protection handles lifting, pulling and tensioning jobs up to 1.6t. This is the violet colour coded size in the range, running a single fall of 8mm x 24mm Grade 80 alloy load chain with a 1.5m standard lift. It takes 240N of effort on the lever to move a full load, and the unit weighs 11kg, so it is easy enough to carry up a ladder or into a confined space.
The gears sit inside an all steel shell, and the built in overload clutch limits what the operator can pull through the mechanism. Load chain is heat treated with a black finish, calibrated and marked to ISO 3077 and ISO 1834. Stainless ID plates and rivets cut the risk of sparking underground. Each block is tested to its rated capacity, supplied with a test certificate matched to the stamped side plate, and complies to AS 1418.2.
