The Lever Block 3G Beaver White 500kg x 1.5Mtr is a hand-operated ratchet block for lifting, pulling and tensioning loads up to 500kg through a 1.5m standard lift. It runs a single fall of 5mm load chain with 305mm headroom, so it fits into tight spots where a bigger block won't sit. The 288mm lever handle needs 340N of effort to lift the full rated load, and it can be worked in any direction as long as the pull stays in a straight line.
Gears and mechanism sit inside an all steel shell, with roller bearings on the gears and machined, heat treated gear teeth. Top and bottom hooks carry cast latches and ball bearings so they rotate under load, and a fitted chain guide keeps the chain seated in the load sprocket pockets. ID plates and rivets are stainless steel to avoid sparking, which suits underground mining. Each unit is tested to rated capacity and comes with a test certificate matched to the stamped side plate. Built to AS1418.2.
