About this product
The 3M Versaflo PAPR TR-819A Starter Kit is a powered air respirator package built around the TR-800 turbo, supplied with a battery and charger so you can get it on a belt and working. Filter, filter cover and head top are not included, so you pick those to suit the job. The turbo sits slim and close to the body, well balanced for crawling through tight spaces and working overhead all shift.
LED indicators on the unit show battery charge, particulate filter loading and the airflow setting, with audible and visual alarms for low charge or low flow. Three user selectable flow rates let each operator dial in comfort, and the airflow stays steady as the battery drains and the filter loads up. Bright yellow touchpoints make it easy to tell apart from non-IS versions, and the battery has a bumper plus a mechanical latch so it stays put. Compliant to AS/NZS 1716:2012.
