The 3M Peltor WS ProTac XPI FLX2 Headset Helmet Attach is a hard hat mounted earmuff that combines hearing protection with hands-free Bluetooth comms. It clips to a compatible helmet and carries an SLC80 27 dB Class 5 rating, approved to AS/NZS 1270:2002. Environmental listening lets you pick up voices and machinery around you when noise levels drop, then cuts in to protect your hearing when things get loud again.
Bluetooth multipoint means you can stay connected to two devices at once, so a phone call does not cost you your radio link. The speech mic is noise cancelling and water resistant to IP68, so talk still comes through with wind and plant running nearby. Hi-vis yellow cups help crew spot you on site. Auto power off after four hours of non-use saves the battery, and a low-battery warning tells you when charge is getting short.
